Fenix TX returns

Three years after the band's sudden denouement [of Fenix TX, the band Mark Hoppus use to manage], Salazar received a phone call from former drummer Damon Delapaz. "All it took was that call, that conversation," says Salazar. "It was like, 'You know, dude, I miss playing.' We had both gotten so many emails from fans wondering why it was we broke up in the first place, and more importantly why there was never a farewell tour. So we decided to set up a show." The band -- Salazar, Delapaz, guitarist Chris Lewis and bassist Adam Lewis -- quickly decided that one show should become two: On August 19th and 20th, Fenix TX will return to the stage, in Phoenix, Arizona, with both performances to be recorded for a live CD slated for late 2005 release.
