Mark Hoppus ha salvato un cervo

Mark Hoppus si trova in Idaho con la sua famiglia e, mentre era in barca sul Redfish Lake, ha trovato in mezzo al lago un cervo in difficoltà ed è riuscito a portarlo in salvo.

Ecco il racconto di Mark Hoppus...

Oggi abbiamo trovato un cervo nel MEZZO DEL LAGO. Nessuna idea di come sia finito lì. Era terrorizzato, tremante, affannato, stanco e nuotava in cerchio. Sono andato sul trampolino, ci siamo affiancati, sono stato in grado di mettere le mie braccia intorno alla parte inferiore del collo e ho provato a tirarlo su, ma era troppo pesante. Quindi per venti minuti abbiamo guidato lentamente questo cervo attraverso il lago, come il raduno di capre in Twilight Princess [NdT.: della serie The Legend of Zelda], verso la riva più vicina. Siamo arrivati lì e il cervo è uscito con difficoltà dall’acqua, si è girato verso di noi per qualche secondo e si è diretto verso il bosco. Oggi abbiamo salvato un cervo!

Found a deer in the MIDDLE OF THE LAKE today. No idea how it got there. It was panicked, shivering, panting, tired, swimming in circles. I got on the swim step and we pulled up alongside it and I was able to get my arms around the bottom of its neck and tried to pull it up but it was too heavy. So for twenty minutes we slowly shepherded this deer across the lake, like herding goats in Twilight Princess, to the nearest shore. We got there and the deer stumbled out of the water, looked back at us for a few seconds, and bounded off into the woods. We saved a deer today!!
