Circa una settimana fa ho avuto il piacere di incontrare una ragazza molto speciale che si chiamava Terisa Guarino. Ho ricevuto una telefonata dal mio manager che mi ha spiegato che Terisa era una mia grandissima fan e che ha sempre voluto incontrarmi. Le è stato diagnosticato il cancro quando aveva 15 anni. Poi è stata sottoposta alla chemio che ha avuto l'effetto inverso su di lei e, invece di aiutarla, ha permesso al cancro di diffondersi. Ho avuto modo di tenerle la mano e incontrare la sua fantastica madre Donna, il suo ragazzo Josh e il suo fratello piccolo Anthony (Ant). Hanno condiviso con me molte storie e foto. Josh e Terisa erano innamorati dai tempi della high school e sono stati assieme da quando avevano 15 anni, adesso ne hanno 20. Ho visto alcune sue foto dove sorrideva e si divertiva con gli amici, ho visto quanto suo fratello, la mamma e il fratello la adoravano e nell'ultimo mese hanno dormito tutte le notti in ospedale sperando/aspettando che migliorasse. Quando sono andato in ospedale era già attaccata al respiratore. Sua madre Donna mi ha informato che giorni prima che fossi andato là ha iniziato ad avere l'elettroencefalogramma piatto e che non è stata più cosciente da allora. Dopo che ho lasciato l'ospedale ho pregato ogni sera per lei. Oggi ho ricevuto un aggiornamento da sua mamma che mi ha spiegato che stasera Terisa verrà staccata dal respiratore per riposare in pace. Sono molto grato/onorato di aver avuto il piacere di incontrarla e di aver trascorso un po' di tempo con lei. Riposa In Pace Terisa. Le mie preghiere e il mio cuore vanno ai suoi amici e alla sua famiglia.
About a week ago I had the pleasure of meeting a very special girl named @Tterrissa . I got a phone call from my manager explaining Terisa was a huge fan of mine and had always wanted to meet me. She was diagnosed with cancer at 15 yrs of age. She was given chemo then and it had the reverse effect on her and instead of helping her it actually caused her cancer to spread. I got to hold her hand and meet her amazing Mother Donna , her boyfriend Josh and her little brother Anthony (Ant). They shared many stories and pictures . Josh and Terisa were high school sweet hearts and had been together since they were 15, she's 20 now. I saw pictures of her smiling and enjoying her friends, saw how much her brother ,Mom and boyfriend adored her and slept every night at the hospital this last month hoping/ waiting for her to improve. When I got to the hospital she was already on the ventilator . Her mother Donna informed days before I got there she flatlined and she hasn't been conscience since. After I left the hospital I prayed every night for her. Today I got an update from her Mom and she explained to me Terisa will be taken off the ventilator tonight to rest in peace . I'm so thankful/ honored I had the pleasure of meeting her and spend a little time with her . Rest In Peace Terisa. My prayers and heart goes out to her friends and family. #GoneTooSoon #Terisa
