MACBETH released last week their plans for a new series of footwear called Studio Projects, featuring limited edition sneakers designed by some of today's hottest artists in rock including Hunter Burgan of AFI, Fred Mascherino of Taking Back Sunday and of course... Tom DeLonge from Angels And Airwaves. Continuing the success of the AVA bonham, Tom took the sneaker to a personal level and added his own art from a canvas painting he made off-tour that was centered around one of his favorite topics... outerspace. He also opted to make it vegan as his tastes are trending toward more environmentally friendly products. The line is set to hit US stores in March and the rest of the world in April. Each pair will come with it's own collection of costumized guitar picks.
