sick!
someone got me sick. i'm not sure who it was or when it happened, but the damage has been done. and when i find out who got me sick, all hell is going to break loose. i am going to give that person a VERY stern look, and maybe, just maybe even roll my eyes. yes, i am THAT serious about it. in any case, i'm sick. my house looks like it was attacked by tissues and every time i cough, it feels like i've just gotten punched in the chest.
james told me that there's a new al gore movie suggesting that global warming is among us. i wonder if global warming is responsible for my illness. the good news is that being taken out by this cold has given me a great opportunity to catch up on my complaining and absurd requests. "hey i feel like i need sushi to clear my sinuses with wasabi. can you go get some and bring it home for dinner? and also i need tissues with blue dancing bears on them. NOT THE ONES IN THE RECTANGLE BOX. SQUARE BOX ONLY!!! I CAN'T BE FOLDING RECTANGULAR TISSUES IN MY SORRY CONDITION!!!" anyway...
i've been doing a lot of televisioning and pro tools programming while i've been recuperating. i've also been listening to the thom yorke solo record and it's pretty ridiculously good. and i'm still way into the AFI album, which was officially released today. and then there's the paris hilton single that stereogum posted. wait, what?
so in closing i'd like to give a belated birthday shout to lil chris baker, who had a "lil" birthday celebration on sunday... in more ways that one. you will hear all about it on the next podcast. also ryan hewitt, who engineered the last blink-182 album and mixed some of the tracks, celebrated his birthday yesterday. mazel tov! and finally i'd like to give a shout out of the rest of (+44) who are hard at work on the record while i sit here at home coughing.
now i'm going to request some chicken noodle soup. NOT FROM THE DELI DOWN THE STREET! THE ONE WAY DOWNTOWN! I KNOW THERE'S TRAFFIC AND IT'S FAR AWAY BUT I'M SICK. DO MY BIDDING!!!
